Frosty (study in sapphire, emerald, and ruby)

It's amazing how taking the time to set up a shoot makes the editing easier. I used a desk lamp to get the lighting. Something I didn't expect was for the food coloring to settle in the bottom of the ice cubes. I think there is something here to use to the melting with other colored water.

I would have used the yellow but it made the water look like piss.
