The 'Artist'

I remember reading forever ago (aka maybe 2 and half months or longer) that influencers don't take mirror selfies. They use a fancier camera and use their phone to snap the picture. I tried to do the same thing here with my D3500. However, I had a lot of trouble getting the shot I wanted so I went with a classic Nick selfie: covering most of my face with a mug. I started a new job so I don't have as much brain space or emotional bandwidth to learn more about Affinity. I was trying to blow out the top left corner but couldn't figure out how to select and edit that piece. Also - the auto focus on the camera was not as accurate or precise as I would have liked. If/when I do this kind of shot again I'll sit near a blank wall and no mug.
